1. Click on Caption Generator

2. Click "Run"

3. Click "Run" again

4. When the captioning application opens click "Clear Text"

5. Select then Edit-Copy the URL, listed beneath the system you are using

6. Paste it into the URL field in the captioning application.

7. Select then Edit-Copy the User Name, listed beneath the system you are using

8. Paste it into the text edit box containing the text "Type User Name Here" in the captioning application.

9. Have the individual, wishing to see the text you are typing into the captioning application, click on the "Caption Window" link, listed beneath the system you are using.

10. As you type, what you are typing will appear in the Caption Window (character-by-Character.

11. Note: Checking the "Using Speech Recognition" in the captioning application enables to you to use Windows XP speech dictation to generate captions.  We recommend training your Windows Speech Recognition System before using it for this purpose.  We recommend reading, "How To Use Speech Recognition in Windows XP."
